Nagios

The open source tool Nagios monitors complex IT environments. It comes with a range of modules designed for monitoring networks, hosts and services. Nagios also has a web interface through which it will display the data it has accumulated. Nagios is licensed under the GPL license and will work with a wide range of UNIX-like operating systems.

Since 2007, Nagios Enterprises has been offering consulting and implementation services for Nagios. In 2008 it-novum became the first German Nagios Enterprise Partner. Building on our many years experience with Nagios and on this partnership, we are actively involved in a great many projects dealing with Nagios migrations, extension development and support.


As a result of our Nagios know-how and our experience in managing complex, heterogeneous IT environments, we have developed openITCOCKPIT. openITCOCKPIT has been designed as a system and application monitoring solution for enterprise use. Its core functionality and add-on modules extend far beyond Nagios' standard features. There are already a number of midsize and large companies using openITCOCKPIT. The product needs not fear comparison with competing solutions from the large vendors.
